jotbin

jotbin is a small, no-account pastebin for markdown. Write a page, get a link, share it. Guides, notes, configs, SOPs, whatever you'd otherwise lose in a chat log.

How it works

• No accounts. When you create a page you get an edit code. That code is the only way to change or delete the page later, so save it somewhere. Lose it and the page is frozen as-is.
• Custom or random URLs. Pick jotbin.sh/your-name if it's free, or leave it blank for a random one.
• Optional view password if a page isn't for everyone, and optional expiry if it shouldn't live forever.
• Comments on every page, moderated by the page's owner. Anonymous is fine; each commenter gets a per-page tag so replies make sense.
• Markdown plus a few extras. Standard markdown works, and there are some custom tags for colour, collapsible sections and checklists. See the syntax guide.

Who can post

Right now page creation needs an invite key. If you know me, ask. Keys are per-person and can be revoked, which keeps the place tidy without a signup wall.

Pages you create are reachable by link immediately and show up in search once I've had a look at them.

Rules

Don't post anything illegal, anyone's private data, or phishing/malware. That's the whole list. Pages that break it get removed and the key that made them gets revoked.
